Creating a document for Microsoft Word involves two tasks: making sure the document is in the correct format, and putting the correct content into that document. LawStream looks after the format of the document for you, and you specify the content. To specify the content you want to be used by Word, drag fields from the list at the right of the window, to the fields at the left side of that window. LawStream adds those values (and their names) as you select and drag them onto the fields at the left. Depending on what you want to do in your main Word document, you will be able to choose whichever fields you need. The next window in this series will show you what the finished Microsoft Word document looks like, after the merge is done. |
