LawStream Pro
Sales Questions and Answers

Your question:

How is LawStream Pro's price calculated for one attorney and one assistant, for a dual-platform implementation?

Our answer:

LawStream Pro's pricing is based on the number of people in an office with concurrent access to the firm's shared LawStream Pro data. The price is $800 for the first user, which is often enough for firms that are just starting to use LawStream Pro (upgrades are available, for firms that grow and need more users with concurrent access). Each concurrent user after the first user, costs $600. If your office has one attorney and one assistant, the cost of a LawStream Pro package would be $800 if only one of you access the data file at the same time (e.g., if the attorney is in court most of the time, so his or her entries and other access might not interfere with the "normal work day" entries and reports of the assistant). On the other hand, if you find that both of you will be entering information and/or producing reports at the same time, then you would need a two-user LawStream Pro package, which would cost $1400.

There is no extra charge for an additional user (user code, timekeeper information etc.), unless that user plans to access the office's data at the same time as another user (or users).
