LawStream Classic Law Office Management

LawStream Classic is PowerSoft Innovations Corporation's legacy application for those who have not yet upgraded to the most recent Mac or Windows hardware, or to the most recent Mac or Windows operating systems. It offers the same core functions as LawStream, although without the enhanced interface, extra fields, word processor, integrated email and other features found in LawStream.

THE 2006 SAN FRANCISCO TOUR (click here for pictures!)

The San Francisco tour was great for us, and we hope it was also great for the many people we met. Our sales efforts were very successful, we conducted some intense training, and we gathered an impressive array of suggestions for new LawStream features.

Given the success of our 2006 "San Francisco Tour", we're looking forward to repeating the event next year. Be sure to mark your calendars for 2007 MacWorld week (whether or not you're a Macintosh user).

Gabriola Island: an island of artists, authors, artisans, and now: software developers.

We are very pleased to announce that PowerSoft's offices have moved to Gabriola Island, British Columbia. Why move? The short answer is this: the move gives us a wealth of additional opportunities to enhance our software and our service, and make it easier to serve LawStream users and to meet prospective LawStream users.

Here's the longer answer... If you were developing software, you would likely want a pleasant place to live and work: a place where you could be creative and productive, and a place your users would enjoy visiting, and where they could benefit from the same balanced combination of productivity and relaxation that you enjoy. You would want a place close to major cities, but also comfortable enough to provide a safe and enjoyable home and workplace: a place where you could forget about your other concerns, and focus on whatever goals you have set for yourself (whether those goals are increased productivity, a healthier lifestyle, organic food, or better performance in your bicycling or kayaking). You would demand high-speed internet access, along with access to high-tech facilities, a variety of cultural events, and a selection of mouth-watering restaurants.

Those are some of the things we had in mind, when we chose Gabriola Island for our new home, and for our new offices. We have all that, and more (including whale watching, wildlife, and warm weather).

The move will bring us closer to many of our users, and closer to international airports. Obviously, it will also bring our users closer to us, too: we have already had requests for training sessions on Gabriola, and we are looking forward to sharing the facilities on this Island, with our users: come for the training, and stay a while for the relaxation and rejuvenation.
